Almaty College of Communications trains personnel in the specialty “Information Security Systems”, which is one of the most popular among modern specialties. Information security specialists create security systems for companies, protect local computer networks from virus cyberattacks or hacking hackers. At the AKS College, students are given knowledge about information technologies, the creation and operation of information systems used not only in advanced IT companies, but also in organizations of any sphere. The operator of hardware and software protection of information administers the local computer system, provides protection against unauthorized access, controls password storage, and regulates antivirus protection. Its competence includes the preparation of projects of organizational and administrative documentation, the conclusion of contracts with suppliers of equipment and hardware and software protection.
To obtain a working qualification “Operator of software and hardware protection” in the specialty “Information security Systems” at the Almaty College of Communications, it is required to complete training lasting 1 year and 10 months. The Tuition fee for one academic year in ACC is 450,000 KZT.
